2016 Compilation from Moore & Scarry Advertising

This is a collection of full spots from my time with Moore & Scarry Advertising, the #1 Tier 3 Automotive Agency in the US.

This collection is a demonstration of Motion Graphics, 2D/3D Animation, Video Editing, Sound Design, and Green Screen Compositing. Software used: Adobe AfterEffects, Premier, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator as well as Element3D.

Ringling College of Art & Design Student Reel 2015

This is a compilation of my best student work(2012-2015) from Ringling College of Art and Design.

This reel demonstrates the applied skills of layout, design, animation, modeling, lighting, compositing, and visual development. Software used: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, MAXON Cinema 4D, NukeX.

Brooklyn Film Festival Trailer

Originally created as my student senior thesis, this animation was selected by the Brooklyn Film Festival as the official trailer of the 2015 Kids Film Fest. 

In the imaginary world of this 3 year old boy, anything is possible. His fantastical journey comes to life showing us the importance of nurturing imagination and creativity.

Tesla 2025 Roadster Commercial

This commercial was produced as the second of 2 senior projects at Ringling College of Art and Design. This commercial concept features a motion tracking, holographic interface with steering wheel optional, auto pilot driving.

Project partner: Clay Cundiff.

TEDx Sarasota - Speaker Intro

This is a short animation to be played in-between the speakers at TEDx Sarasota, 2014. This segment speaks to the divided conflict within the subject of social justice.

Don't Text and Walk - 2D Character Animation

This was  my first attempt at 2D character design, rigging, and animation. My goals were to gain a greater understanding of character development and AfterEffects character rigging as well as gain a proficiency in creating a visual narrative through movement.

Journey - a SFF Trailer

This project was a combined undertaking between my sophomore Animation, Design and Concept classes to produce a trailer for the 2013 Sarasota Film Festival. This video was played in front of hundreds of people throughout the course of the festival. 

Lady Wolf and the Moon - 2D/3D Animation

This project was done at he end of my freshman year in the Animation Techniques class using both 2D and 3D stop-motion techniques with compositing in AfterEffects.

Idents for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon

This was a mock project to produce 3 short animations for each network demonstrating the principles of animation in a fun way.

Matte Painting: Avatar meets Planet of the Apes

This is my first hand at matte painting. I have been compositing in photoshop for years but this is the first time I have put the layers in 3D space and animated it.

ABC App (B is for) animation

This was the end of year project for my sophomore computer animation class. For this project, each student was given a letter of the alphabet to create a 10-30 second animation around that contained significant 2D and 3D elements. The end goal was to combine all of the students' animations  into a single mobile App. 

Projection Mapping on Soapstone

This video is the production mock-up for a projection mapping project. This animation is based on the concept of "cosmic skin" and a couple going through a journey as one. The soapstone sculpture I carved here, entitled "Embrace", was produced for a separate Sculpture class, 

History of the Moving Image Timeline - Pre 1920s

This class project set each student with a decade or era of film to depict using era specific visual treatments and sound. I was chosen to do the first segment that span the pre-1920s to now.

Drinking Alone Under the Moon

This animated poem was produced for my Chinese Art and Culture class at Ringling College of Art and Design. The characters come from a classic poem written in the eighth century by the famous poet Li Po. Two paintings of him, inspired by this poem, are used as the backgrounds.

Art is Wasteful - PSA Animation

This was a group project with the aim of dispelling the idea that art is useless, pointless, elitist, lies, etc. We were to prove that Art isn't Wasteful but Essential.

 

Animated Travel Poster - Notre Dame - Arabesque

The task of this project was to create an animated travel poster centered around a specific art style. For this I merged 2D & 3D animation and compositing.
